The beautiful woman soon won more roles in a number of commercially successful ventures like 'Lost In Space', 'Austin Powers-The Spy Who Shagged Me' and other such hits as well. In between, there was a dry spell for Heather Graham. She came up with an unsuccessful TV series of her own. It lasted for some time before going off the airs. However, there was more ill-luck for this lady. She had to star in a number of forgettable and unsuccessful Hollywood films. When these did not work, she had to step in briefly in the fairly famous and successful TV series 'Scrubs'. Moreover, she had also starred in the critically acclaimed adaptation of Alan Moore's comic book, 'From Hell', opposite the famous leading man and celebrity Johnny Depp.

However, director Todd Phillips gave her a new lease of life. This was in the widely successful film 'The Hangover'. Being an all-out guy comedy, it nevertheless featured Graham playing a gorgeous part. The film suited well to Graham's inherent style and her obvious good looks. Again, producers have started looking towards casting her in their upcoming projects. She recently starred in the animation film, 'The Flying Machine' as well as in the recent fourth part of the Scream anthology. She had also been slated for a role in 'The Hangover Part 2' as well. However, she declined from doing it.

Today, Heather Graham is much applauded for her considerably good career graph. While she has not scored direct hits with most movies, she has nonetheless earned a reputation for acting in roles that require good looks and style. However, Heather Graham is more than just a bimbo. She also plays very convincing and believable characters. One such can be seen in the film 'Boogie Nights'. She was playing one of the flashy people in the gaudy pornography industry. However, her performance is very heartfelt and very convincing as well. So, this shows that she is not just a pretty package. She is talented as well.

However, she has also fallen into a lot of controversies as well. Heather Graham is for now unmarried and single. But that has not stopped many stories circulating among the press and the paparazzi as well. There have been numerous stories of link-ups with famous celebrities like James Woods, Heath Ledger, Leonardo Di Caprio, Josh Lucas and Edward Burns. Marriage seems like a distant thing for this actress. It is however bad enough that such stories really portray her talent in such bad light. So, there is more to Heather Graham than such false rumors and stories.

She also has some personal problems as well. To date, her family remains like a hurdle for her further progress to stardom. There is a cold confrontation between the parents and Heather. It is obvious why. Heather Graham's parents openly disapprove of her acting ambitions. They even do not approve of the films which she does. This would mean that her family is still quite conservative. However, such conservatism could put up newer hurdles and obstacles on her path to better movie roles. This also means that there are more struggles for this immensely talented Hollywood actor.
